Sony FE SELP28135G 28-135mm Powered Zoom Lens

A marvelous lens ideally suited for the Sony A7S,generally for video work. smooth and silent zoom and focus makes using this particular lens a breeze. Outstanding build quality and fairly light considering its size. Ergonomically well designed. Power zoom works well, although a little laggy when used full speed. For the slow creep in zoom, the zoom rocker button on the lens itself can be a pain, i recommend a remote control such as the one on Sony VCT-VPR1 which plugs into the Multi port on the A7S. Having a remote control will negate any hand shake/noise from pressing buttons on the camera body itself. This particular remote has a switch to enable slow zoom. Well suited to the lower level enthusiast and small production teams, especially those on tight budgets and tight spaces. Would i recommend this lens? Definitely YES.
