Late last year Videopro installed a 46.08 square meter (9.6m wide x 4.8m high) video wall at the Bond Institute of Health & Sport (BIHS). This world-class teaching and training facility hosts Bond students specialising in exercise and sports science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetic practice, and the like. The video wall can be seen on the outside wall of the building’s northern extension. With the Institute being located conveniently between Robina Hospital and CBus Super Stadium, Bond University uses the video wall to share marketing content to the public as well as their students.
The video wall itself consists of 50 Aurora LDC960667-WPR-HB-LUX 6mm pixel pitch panels. These are weatherproof LED panels designed specifically for outdoor use. The subframe and gantry for the video wall was also supplied by Videopro in tandem with Aurora. There is also rear access support over two internal levels in the building for ongoing servicing and maintenance.
