Highlights from SAVe Webinar

Last week, SAVe | Sustainability in AV Co-Ambassadors in Australia - Videopro CXO, Yas Grigaliunas, and CommBox COO, Sarah Drysdale - hosted a webinar that explored sustainability, circular economy and the future of the AV industry in Australia.

One of the key takeaways from the session was that sustainability in AV extends far beyond recycling. It spans the entire lifecycle of a solution, from design and procurement through to operation, reuse and end-of-life planning.

The webinar also highlighted the importance of collaboration across the AV industry, where manufacturers, integrators, partners and end users work together to create more sustainable and circular outcomes. There were some fantastic examples shared of organisations already making an impact through second-life initiatives, repurposing programs and partnerships that are helping reduce e-waste while extending the life of AV technology into communities that need it most.

“And ultimately, what we’re looking for is to continue the conversation, the collaboration and the connection for sustainability and circularity across our industry, so that we no longer have the sentiment of being far behind, but instead, we can design solutions that allow us to be leading those market changes,” said Yas.
