Stantec | Audio Visual Case Study

Stantec Inc. is an international professional services company in the design and consulting industry. The company was moving multiple offices into their South Brisbane location and required a variety of meeting rooms and video conferencing spaces to accommodate. The project consisted of 15 spaces across two floors. The technology is primarily based on a BYOD system, allowing each room to be compatible with Zoom, MS Teams, Office365 or any other software making it easy to use for both those in the company and external parties. Videopro also provided and installed a number of 75” Sony wall-mounted displays across the project as required.

The fit out utilises a wide range of different technologies to suit each space. The smaller meeting rooms use Poly Studio Video Bars and accommodate from four to eight people. With a six-microphone array and automatic framing and speaker tracking, the Video Bar ensures everyone can be seen and heard properly.

The medium sized rooms feature the Logitech Rally Bar allowing for one-touch video conferencing. The adaptive beamforming microphones focus on the active talker and the advanced audio engineering delivers powerful, room-filling sound. With motorized PTZ the camera stays focused on the action. Each room also includes three Logitech tabletop Rally Mic Pods to extend the beamforming microphone matrix.

The kitchen / breakout space caters up to 60 people with two Shure ceiling array microphones and six Bose ceiling-mounted loudspeakers. An AVer PTZ camera is mounted above the display to allow for effortless video conferencing. The final space is a linking meeting room which can function as one
large room or two separate spaces once the dividing wall is pulled across. A Shure ceiling array microphone and six Bose ceiling-mounted loudspeakers are also utilised in this area. An AVer PTZ camera is mounted at one end and a Poly Studio Video Bar is placed at the other. The technology is easily controlled via a Crestron 7” touch panel.
