The success of an Audio Visual project relies primarily on a well delivered consultation to derive clarity on client and project outcomes that determine the scope of effort, the functionality requirement and the ability to deliver within a requested timeframe.
Once we have been awarded a project, the planning phase begins within our Project Management Office (PMO). The project team is assembled based on client familiarity, consistency, experience and technical expertise. Before we engage with our customers' delivery team, our internal handover processes address Safety, Functionality, Planning, Quality and Risk. The team review these elements through the customer lens to ensure we are setup to deliver what will meet, or in many cases what will exceed our customers’ expectations.
All projects delivered by Videopro operate within our PMO Governance Framework. This framework defines the structures and processes required to ensure accountability, transparency, communication and responsiveness relating to the in-flight activities of our project delivery team. Critical decisions regarding project outcomes have clear visibility to key internal stakeholders ensuring logical and beneficial approaches are agreed and delivered.
Where appropriate we adhere to a waterfall methodology when delivering Audio Visual integration projects. We introduce some Agile interaction when required in relation to our software and programming practice. We place significant importance on protecting our customers investment in technology and ensuring the right equipment is installed, commissioned and programmed at the most appropriate time within the delivery lifecycle.
The safety of our people and the quality of our solutions are foundation principles within Videopro. We operate a continuous improvement model to enhance our processes and culture of excellence. Our project documentation clearly outlines who is responsible for each component of works, the agreed milestones and at what point during the project phases the milestones will be achieved. Documentation is updated and communicated regularly throughout the project lifecycle.
Once our Project Manager confirms that the completed solutions meet or exceed our customers’ requirements, the solution is handed over ready for use. Operation and Maintenance Manuals are collated and all project documentation updated to be included in the “As-Built” documentation pack supplied to our customer. An electronic copy of this is retained at Videopro for future reference and ongoing support activity.
